Back at work; lists of dreadful things happening to children, dreadful things happening then all the pettiness & rivalries (are they distractions? is that how some of us cope?)& office politics & cattiness & pointless new schemes

I read of a friend's death today - quite out of the blue for me, as our paths no longer cross with the frequency they did - I'm very sorry about it

I look for delights in life as if I were a miner...I'm having to work harder & harder to find them, & whats the point? I don't think anything really works for me now & I'm less inclined to search for it......
