Jan. 6th, 2008 05:49 pmas I was packing away all the Christmas decorations yesterday, a parcel arrived, for Nina really.
A wonderfully perfect mushroom-woodland print dress, made by Liz, aka woollyrockers! we are so happy with it.
As usual this is not the best of photographs. We went to Leeds today, stopping to walk around the ruins of Kirkstall Abbbey on the way.I wanted to photograph Nina in her dress, & this is the best in a dreadful bunch!
I spent my Christmas money on 'All About Eve' (the Bette Davis movie)and a new frock. I spent less than a tenner! (my Christmas money!. I had change enough to buy my final bag of roasted chestnuts.
Term begins tomorrow & I already feel the adrenalin kicking in...eek! One of my resolutions this year is not to be ill! I have had so much time away from work this past year than ever before (nearly all ashtma-ish) & am determined not to take any this year. I will be an example of stoicism! Just like Emily Bronte!!
